Yep. That’s a double hit of Jim Sherraden, curator of the historic Hatch Show Print Shop ^[1] in Nashville, Tennessee. He is bringing the magic of letterpress to upstate New York on May 13th and 14th. Sherradan will talk about this centuries-old art on Friday, May 13th at 7:00 p.m. and then hold a letterpress workshop from 9-5 on Saturday, May 14th. In this day and age of electronic communications, Sherraden feels that  letterpress printing is still relevant. “We’re proud of our history and proud of our contemporary work,” Sherraden said of the shop where he’s spent more than 25 years. The poster for this event was printed by Dock 2 Letterpress ^[3]on Mohawk 50/10 ^[6]Matte. The smooth surface allows all of the type’s grain and “personality” to show through.
