When two of Utah’s top design firms, Struck and Axiom Design Collaborative, merged last year, they combined a fun and quirky approach to design, interactive and advertising through their branding, motion graphics, licensing and identity development to create Struck/Axiom. This combination of passion, merriment, and solid design is evidenced through the work, including their new identity system.

Designed by Struck/Axiom Design Director, Peder Singleton, the identity features octopuses travelling through gray waves of differing designs — pixellated and reminiscent of classic Super Nintendo® games to simplistic stripes. The artwork ranges from pixellated to mechanical to x-rayed. The pieces swim together with minimalistic design and simple and elegant typography.
The Struck/Axiom identity was printed by Printech on Mohawk Superfine, Ultrawhite.
