New Mohawk Studio Collection for HP White Ink

In conjunction with one of the most exciting announcements in the digital printing industry, Mohawk, an HP Indigo preferred partner, announces its new Mohawk Studio Collection: white ink-compatible i-Tone papers formulated for HP Indigo digital presses. HP ElectroInk White is the industry’s first white ink for sheet-fed digital presses, and the Mohawk Studio Collection is a compatible line of papers.

“Now designers and printers can explore creative possibilities they couldn’t before. The ability to print crisp white type or beautiful images on dark colored papers is something this industry has been without until now,” said Chris Harrold, Mohawk’s Vice President Development, Emerging Technologies.

The collection of 23 customized colored papers is comprised of papers from the Beckett Concept, Beckett Expression, Mohawk Carnival, Mohawk Loop and Mohawk Via lines. The offering includes vellum, smooth and super smooth finishes available in 80 cover to 120 double-thick cover weights. All papers are HP ElectroInk White is the industry’s first white ink for sheet-fed digital presses
