Following on the heels of Mohawk’s recognition as a top Green-IT Organization earlier this year, IDG’s Computerworld again recognizes Mohawk Fine Papers, Inc. as a leader in information technology practices by naming Paul Stamas, Vice President of Information Technology, a 2010 Premier 100 IT Leaders honoree. This year’s Premier 100 spotlights 100 award leaders from both the technology and business sides of companies for their exceptional technology leadership, innovative ideas to business challenges and effectively managed IT strategies.

Stamas is profiled in Computerworld, here. “This prestigious recognition is a testimony to the vision of our executive leadership team and their commitment to leveraging information technology to continually deliver the highest possible value to our customers,” said Stamas.
He credits the “empowered culture” at Mohawk, a private, third-generation family-owned company, “This award also honors the highly talented members of the Mohawk IT organization and their ability to exploit information technologies to achieve operational excellence and deliver innovative business processes across the company’s value-chain.”
The Premier 100 awards ceremony will be one of the highlights of Computerworld’s annual Premier 100 IT Leaders Conference to be held in March. The Premier 100 was first created in 2000 to spotlight individuals who have had a positive impact on their organization through technology by creating a positive work environment, envisioning innovative solutions to business challenges and effectively manage and execute IT strategies.
The complete class of Computerworld’s Premier 100 IT Leaders for 2009 appears online at here and in the Dec. 8, 2008 issue of Computerworld.
